“Seeing a contractors work before hiring is important, I would love to show you my Electrical Installations in person but understandably this is rarely possible, I can provide the next best thing, pictures. Please take a look at some of my previous work, spanning from lighting to rewires and new build Electrical installations.”
Extension to flat
New Build Flats

Extension to flatThis project was an extension on the back of a ground floor flat and reconfiguration of the existing property to gain an extra bedroom and larger living area. This was a full rewire / new install, consisting of 2 bedrooms, hall, kitchen, bathroom, lounge and outside power and lights. Attention to detail was crucial due to the materials chosen by the client and level of design. There were many features that needed to be carefully considered during the installation including sliding doors, lighting runs lining up from room to room, working around the old structure ect. One problem in particular was the kitchen and lounge lightning, the walls in these rooms were not at right angles to each other but both sets of lights would be visible from each room and the client naturally wanted the lights to appear to line up. This took a lot of careful measuring and some adjustment by eye to make the whole installation
Warehouse conversionMy client had chosen to convert an old warehouse into his new home, this was a massive 10,000 SqFt space with many difficulties to overcome.
This project had a number of challenges for our electrical installation, it was not made for domestic use, the previous installation was surface mounted so there were no existing natural runs for recessing cables and keeping them out of sight, as well as this our customer wanted to leave the ceiling as they were, so no void behind plasterboard too run our cables, finally the majority of the walls were to remain exposed brick.
There was to be a small void between the existing floorboards and the new finished floor of around 50mm, this was where all of the new cables needed to be run.
The installation consisted of over 100 downlights, 80 pendants, 9 occupancy sensors, intercom system and Ethernet. The Project ran over a 9 month period from initial visit to completion.
New Build FlatsThis was a Harrow Council project developing 2 new flats designed for assisted living. Two new build flats as an extension to the existing assisted living building, a simple installation in appearance but consideration was needed for accessibility and future adaptions e.g. possible lift for 1st floor flat. It also needed to meet low energy requirements so all lights were low energy, air heat recovery systems installed and solar water system. Sockets were installed outside for charging mobility scooters and automatic sensor run lighting.
Bathroom installationA simple bathroom installation including lighting, extraction and towel rail. 6 IP44 and firerated LED downlights spread evenly across the ceiling, this ceiling was dropped around 2 foot from the original. An extractor fan with humidistat and self closing vents was installed above the window with an isolator outside the bathroom. A heated towel rail was installed with isolation and timer outside the bathroom.
Chandelier over stairsThis chandelier installation was a tricky task, not only supporting the wight of the light correctly on the ceiling but adjusting every individual light to the right hight. With no guide just a concept of a random arrangement, each light had to be spaced so they wouldn't knock each other also making an arrangement that filled the space and didn't leave any large gaps.
